The Slater Library offers E-Books and audiobooks FREE with your library card via Libby and the Palace Project apps. Read or listen to books on smart phones, tablets, computers, and eReaders including Kindle.

To request physical library materials from many CT libraries, check out the Acorn app. You can request materials from Slater Library, or you can request materials from other CT libraries and have them sent to the Slater Library for pick-up.

Acorn is an app powered by Bibliomation. With Acorn Catalog, you have access to 63 public libraries across Connecticut, including Slater Library. With the app, you'll be able to place holds on items, search for library materials, keep track of your reading lists, and more.
